Don't Blame Canada This Time

Although the tone of this article is negative towards Canada's actions, I for one applaud their courage. It's a lot harder to stand up for the unpopular opinion.

"But observers say Ottawa's unwavering support of Israel in the current conflict – highlighted by yesterday's vote – is a break from more neutral positions of the past."

Uh huh ... it's a "neutral" position to not take sides when it's obvious who is in the wrong? Gotcha. That worked out really well for the "neutral" countries in WWII didn't it? Denmark and Switzerland stood strong against the Nazis did they?

There is much more bravery in standing tall against the prevailing winds than in bending to get along with the rest of the blowing hot air.

Preach is sister. Remember the man in the arena quote? It fits perfectly.

Big hug. :)
