Free Speach for Thee

...But not for me.

I'm quite glad that Miss California spoke her mind and said what she believed to be true. They asked her a question and clearly only wanted one answer...which she did not give.

When asked by judge Perez Hilton, an openly gay gossip blogger, whether she believed in gay marriage, Miss California, Carrie Prejean, said "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

First of all, since when does being a blogger qualify you to judge the Miss USA pageant? Second, I'm surprised she even got first runner up with her politically incorrect answer.

I say good for her for standing up for her beliefs and defending how she was raised. I hope she sticks to her guns.

What a stupid question in the first place. What does that have to do with anything? Just saying.

I too am impressed that she stood up for what she believed in. Good for her.

Have a terrific day. :)

Perez Hilton was a judge? Seriously?

Well, good for her for saying what she really thought. That is a rather silly question, though...

Exactly! It's a ridiculous question. With no point to it...it's a frickin' beauty (oh I'm sorry...is this a scholarship pageant too) pageant not a political science pageant. Lame!
