Anyway...just heard a report on the radio that a "blue ribbon" panel charged with investigating the Fort Hood shooting said that the military should not just be concerned with Muslim extremism, but with religious extremism of all kinds.

*sigh*

Move along. Nothing to see here. PC remains the name of the game.

Hypocrisy

It amazes me that lefties hate Republicans/conservatives so much that their so called "peaceful" and "loving" ways go out the window...

THAT is terrorism. The plan was to attack the Republican convention. Free people with differing ideas are considered the enemy to these anarchist, communist, crazy people.

It's okay to damage property and take lives if the cause is "social justice" (as long as it's THEIR definition of social justice) and obtaining "equality". That is INSANE! And wrong.

And as the article says, imagine if these terrorists (because that is exactly what they are) were "conservatives" planning to attack the Democratic national convention. We would have heard about NOTHING else! Yet, have you ever heard of this foiled attack?

I hadn't until today. And I learned about it online, not in the Lame-stream media.

A sad state of affairs.

Don't Reward Terrorism

Instapundit publishes an exclusive from Michael Yon (who is awesome) about Sderot. His assessment is that a two state solution in Israel and Gaza is simply a reward for the terrorist behaviors of Hamas.

The idea of a two-state solution, once popular with many Israelis, is evaporating. More and more Israelis are coming to believe that any appeasement with the Palestinians is merely a reward for terrorism. And so it is. The Palestinians have become prisoners by their own hand. The hand that builds the bombs, wields the guns, and welds the rockets, has caused a fence to be built around them.

They are isolated and imprisoned. But it’s not only Israel who’s done this. The Gaza Strip borders Egypt, and Egypt has done the same. The terrorists are tunneling like rats and the Egyptians and Israelis are trying to locate and destroy the tunnels under their respective fence lines. Who wants the Palestinians? If the Palestinians truly were a peaceful lot, victims only of Israel, one might think that they would have free entry into Egypt. But they do not.

Until they stop their attacks on Israel, and instead focus on building a successful economy, they will remain destitute, punishing those citizens within Gaza who don't want to live in squalor and fear.

Bullies and Despots

For those who claim to love freedom and support the rights of Palestine to exist, perhaps they should start protesting against Hamas. Hamas is no better than Hitler's Nazi party.

The lady who sent chills down my spine actually said that they need to go into the ovens. *eyes open wide in shock - chin to floor* HORROR!!!!



And apparently I'm supposed to have "no choice but to accept" Islam because it's in my nature. *snort*

I will slit my own throat before I bow down to any asshole in a mosque. Nor will I ever wear any sort of hijab. Although I do think some of the scarves are pretty - it sure beats a bad hair day.

Notice that it isn't the Israel supporters getting violent. Good grief...this is Fort Lauderdale FLORIDA...the United STATES!

I'm Flummoxed

I really don't understand the urge for people to blame Israel for the violence occurring right now. Seriously. I don't get it.

Watching the news this morning, Bill Hemmer (I think that's his name) got pissed at some Palestinian spokes person who seriously tried to say that the Palestinians were innocent in all of this. I just listened to her with my mouth open in awe. These people have such a skewed sense of reality ... to the point of embracing death. I was quite proud of Bill's reaction ... though he was a lot more reserved than I would have been.

Israel has held back more than any other country would be expected to do. Rockets lobbed at their cities at all times of the day and night, killing innocent civilians and terrorizing their citizens. And this is during the so called peaceful cease fire time.

Hamas are nothing more than thugs, bullies, terrorists, and murderers and yet people are crying over their blood and blaming Israel for their "overreaction". I suppose the appropriate response is to bend over and just take it. Of course, those who tend to blame Israel would not shed a tear if the map no longer included that tiny piece of land surrounded by basket cases.

It infuriates me that there are so many, otherwise logical and moderately sane, people see Israel as the aggressor. Even YouTube seems to think that terrorists have more a right to "defend" themselves against the "evil Jews" than the IDF has to post videos showing terrorists getting their deserved treatment.

I need to go back and re-read some of my history books about the history of Israel. But I do know that their actions against Hamas (really a proxy war with Iran) are completely justified. Any civilian deaths should be blamed directly on Hamas who chooses to hide among children and innocents.

I Thought They Were Supposed to Like us Now

Wait...the One was elected. So why would gunmen target Westerners in the Mumbai shooting? (as reported just a few minutes ago on Fox News) That doesn't make any sense at all.
